Whatever happened to “CONTENT of CHARACTER”?  

A few weeks ago A terrific young guy and writer named Coleman Hughes showed up on “THE VIEW” to talk about his new book, titled “The End of Race Politics: Arguments for a Colorblind America”. As the New York Post put it, “he was greeted almost as though he had shown up wearing a white hood”. Despite being African American.

This is where we are at with race relations right now in the U.S. Black America can be accused of being racist, too, if they don’t fall in lockstep with the masses on the far left and think Independently. UNREAL.

This young writer was castigated by Sunny Hostin who tried to make the claim that he was a “charlatan” and disingenuous regarding his plea for equal treatment regardless of race. Translation? A pawn of the right. 

I just wanted to state for the record that THIS Individual is what we need in this country more than ever right now if we are to slip back into some type of sanity. He thoroughly and eloquently states his case for a colorblind society writing, “Black supremacy is as dangerous as white supremacy, and God is not interested merely in the freedom of black and brown and yellow men. God is interested in the freedom of the whole human race.”

COLEMAN HUGHES FOR PRESIDENT… that’s what I say. I LOVE THIS KID.

FAKE PHOTO SCANDAL

Can someone explain to me why the HUGE story 2 weeks ago was, “THE ROYAL PALACE EDITS PHOTOS”. It’s 2024. Who doesn’t edit photos?

The number of articles devoted to that headline alone was SO CONFUSING. WHO CARES. Filtered, highlighted, background, black and white… every damn photo is now edited. The MEDIA was obsessed with that for some strange reason. Just had to get that one off my chest. Oh, and Kate – we are praying for you. 42. You’re too young to die.

LADIES, IT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY

Angel Reese and LIZZO. This is for y’all.  (WARNING! SNARKY ALERT FOR COLUMN BELOW if the TRUTH TRIGGERS YOU)

I don’t know about you, but lately it seems many folks out there who became stars for whatever reason and who got the POWER, CASH MONEY, STREET CRED and all that are NOW complaining that they’re victims. I have to admit, I scratch my head on some of this stuff because it seems to me, and it’s strictly my opinion (which we can still have, BTW, despite groups of extremists trying to tell you otherwise… NO…. I’m not a white supremist because I see things my way, so knock that stuff off… it’s ignorant) that the very same people who say “LOOK AT ME… “LOOK AT ME” and draw a hearty paycheck, are now upset because the way in which they’re being SEEN or consumed by America is not to their liking.

Let’s start with LIZZO. Liz regularly throws it down that she’s a brash, bold, BIG GIRL who is full of attitude and gusto and won’t be anything other than what she is. OK. Sure. We accept that and many stand with you, but still… many don’t. Some people find Lizzo FUN, others have said, disgusting. That’s AMERICA and the beauty of it. We can ALL have our opinions… BUT somewhere, along the way, she’s gotten really sensitive after posing in a thong, twerking at the Burger King counter, and swimming through a vat of skittles, and now says people who don’t like what she’s selling are racist and bullies. FULL STOP LIZZY. If you want to be seen, you want to be seen. GOOD AND BAD. Not just the good. Now, she says after a meaty lawsuit filed against her for sexual harassment (among other things), she’s quitting the music industry. Here’s the thing – it’s ok. We didn’t notice you had left to begin with. The big blue marble keeps spinning and the show must go on!  That’s not harsh, BTW… it’s the truth. SAD that people in this country don’t like that anymore because it makes them feel “some kinda way”.  Get help for that.

CRAZY athlete. SUPERSTAR on the court just something you want to watch every time you hear she’s gonna be on TV.

After the loss to IOWA Monday night she had a presser and cried and talked about all her trials and tribulations. Enough, pal. Look, the fact of the matter is the people who don’t like you have said things like, “you have a gross personality, you’re rude and disrespectful and well, off-putting”.  (just as much as her coach, Kim Mulkey, BTW) That’s how some people feel… and SO WHAT if they feel that way? You’re crying yourself into endorsement deals to the tune of $1.7 million. I don’t know. It seems like these younger folks want EVERYONE and their deceased 4th uncle to love them no matter what. Well, that’s not reality. Never was. Never will be. I don’t know, stop acting like a fresh, entitled brat and maybe people will stop thinking you’re a fresh, entitled brat. Might work.
