It Is What It Is… February 11, 2026 – Commentary, Jen Brien

THE GUTHRIE CASE
I have questions, gang. Like everyone else I’m transfixed by this case and all the irregularities around it makes me nuts. I’m talking things like – the SHERIFF releasing the crime scene/home back to the family within 48 hours of their INITIAL investigation beginning (WHY? What competent individual does this?) The ransom notes… (I believe they were a ruse) the continuation of visits back to the contaminated crime scene by local law enforcement IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT… the lack of press conferences from the local police department… the sheriff on the case being seen at a college hoops game enjoying life in the middle of this investigation… the type of wording they’ve used around NANCY GUTHRIE… the WHITE VAN mystery and so on and so on. It’s just the strangest case – and so far, there’s no obvious motive. It’s keeping law enforcement frustrated and keeping people clinging to their TV’s.
My theory is, (and we all have one), is that she was killed the night she went missing. I believe it was a break-in gone wrong. I believe the perp/ PERPS didn’t know she was there and harmed her upon realizing this. She was then taken out of the home, killed and dumped in the dessert (close to her home) somewhere. It could have been a gang member or someone who works for her or has worked IN her home. Then, they sent the ransom notes to throw off investigators. Again, just MY OPINION, folks. What do I know… I’m just sharing the thoughts I’ve had on all of this over these last 10 days. I’m just a person with an opinion. I may be TOTALLY WRONG… but it’s what I’ve been thinking.
Again, what do I know.
I will say this. If the people who committed this heinous crime don’t belong in this country. people will go insane. I mention this because in one of the ransom notes the people who sent it wrote “send the Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency in USD”. IF you LIVE in America, you don’t use that language. FYI – THERE ARE over 350,000 illegals living in Arizona and many work all over that state. The closest I’ve heard of someone saying anything about illegals being involved was a detective on a news program who said, “the border is 40 miles from her house”. That’s it. It was implied, but nothing else was said. I’m not saying an illegal did this, but if everyone is STILL a suspect, well… THEN EVERYONE IS A SUSPECT. It may be a clue. BTW, the political implications, If THAT were the case, would be seismic. This nation would EXPLODE. Stay tuned folks. Stay tuned.

ARE THE PATRIOTS REALLY “WARRIORS”?
The film the “WARRIORS” is weird, guys. Before the SUPER BOWL I decided to give it a whirl and I watched some of it to try and understand why the players and their coach were screaming “WARRIORS” after games . All I have to say is you gotta love 1970’s films. They’re so crazy and awesome and ridiculous. Truly… but here’s a synopsis of the film so you don’t have to spend your free time on it (I wouldn’t if I were you): “A turf battle between New York City street gangs rages from Coney Island to the Bronx. The Warriors are mistakenly fingered for the killing of a gang leader. Soon they have every gang in the city out to get revenge, and they must make their way across the city to their own turf”.
What stuck out here to me here was the idea that they’re underdogs. They have to fight their way through something and out of something to get back home while people are out to get them.
If they used this film to motivate themselves before the bowel movement that was their Super Bowl appearance, they sure are going to have to prove that they’re “WARRIORS” NOW.
THEY’LL have to fight their way back from the screams that they’re frauds. They’ll have to fight the noise in the PRESS. They’ll have to fight the voices in their own heads and finally, they’ll even have to fight to get their fans back who have turned on them like dogs in heat.
Mike Vrabel was screaming “WARRIORS” after winning, but I really need to know if he’s screaming that now. He needs to be. He needs to be tattooing it on their foreheads.
Lastly, they kept telling everyone:
“We all WE GOT. WE ALL WE NEED”… but actually…. no. That’s not true.
You NEED a left tackle.
You need a frothing at the mouth beast to protect our QB on that blind side. You don’t got “all you need”.
You “NEED” a lot more.
