I GET DISCOURAGED TOO

Some days I wake up and see the news on the idiot box and I just say “WOW”… “how did we get here?”. If you’re like me you question things, this world, you search for purpose and want a more enriching life experience. THERE’S SO MUCH THAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE THESE DAYS. Everything seems upside down or inside out. To quote THE TEMPTATIONS it really is “A BALL OF CONFUSION” right now OUT there in this world… and so, some days I get discouraged and overwhelmed, but I don’t stay there.

I go for a run, clear my brain out and spend time with God. I used to hit the bottle hard to deal with the absurdity of this world… but I had to find another way… or die. I certainly didn’t want my story to end that way… NO WAY! Though I got healthy, I know a lot of people are struggling with life, things, and what not right now, so I wanted to share this with you. I hope it’s an encouragement. If your cynical and don’t want to feel good keep scrolling down… there’s plenty of snark down there. ANYWAY, whenever I read this, it always makes me feel a little better. It may help answer a few things for you …

“WHEN GOD DIDN’T ANSWER BUT HE SHOWED UP”
