I’LL HAVE A LARGE FRY WITH THAT

Nothing like seeing TRUMP in a McDonald’s apron, right? Hahahaha. That cracked me up – it did… but the real story here is not the fries or BIG MACS he was handing out to customers; it’s the complete and utter meltdown MSNBC was having because of it. It’s so boring now to tune into that station. Back in the day when Chris Matthews was on and I was a hardcore liberal, I watched religiously. I couldn’t get enough. I found it to be informative and entertaining… and then… as time passed, I noticed that the people accusing the other side of things… were they themselves DOING THOSE THINGS. I grew to understand all the issues they claimed to stand for were really, a power grab and a whole bunch of double-back gaslighting and manipulation. Democrats weaponize marginalized people to achieve their goals all in the name of moral righteousness. NO THANKS. ALL SET with THAT game. So, I left THE LEFT and slid into the INDEPENDENT category for my sanity and well-being. PHEW. I can breathe out here. It’s refreshing! 

ANYHOW… MSNBC and the usual suspects were so incensed that TRUMP seemed like the “EVERYMAN” for a second, they lost their Sh$T. Can you imagine being on THAT STAFF? Going bananas on air because TRUMP was serving people FRIES!? That’s a sad life. The world is on fire and THAT was the obsession a few days ago. If I were Donald, I would have sent 1000$ worth of food over to those folks via DOOR DASH and made sure the MICKEY D delivery was caught on video. NOW THAT is worthy of news coverage and worth tuning back in for!!!!

PEOPLE WORSHIP THEMSELVES

Recently, there have been SO MANY social media posts showing people raising themselves up and talking so highly OF themselves I’ve had to do double takes. I thought… NAH… “THAT CAN’T BE RIGHT”?! BUT it was. I literally was seeing what I thought I was seeing. I asked myself out loud (because I told you all I talk to myself) “WHO PATS THEMSELVES ON THE BACK IN A PUBLIC SETTING other than fools like ANTONIO BROWN or wanna bes  like any of the KARDASHIANS”? I mean, when did people “en masse” get so damn EGOCENTRIC? This behavior used to be reserved for the folks like the UBER RICH anywhere in NEWPORT back during the GILDED AGE… but now we see and hear people talking about how “FABULOUS” THEY are in some way every day just because.

Obviously, everybody getting a “participation trophy” starting somewhere in the mid 90’s turned many MANY kids into narcissistic entitled adult monsters, but technology is a HUGE part of this story as well. Everywhere you look these days people are pouring themselves out online in EVERY WAY. It’s a me me me society. Look AT ME… see ME… click ON ME… like ME… WATCH MY CONTENT… SEE THE PICTURE OF ME I TOOK OF MYSELF GETTING acknowledged… etc., etc.

I always thought OTHERS raise you up and honor you. You don’t raise YOURSELF UP and honor yourself. IT’S OUT of CONTROL. Not only are people into self-idolatry and have become their own God they worship, but they have also become desensitized to the hurts and sufferings of things and people around them. Never ever could I imagine taking a video of a helpless animal or person in some kind of trouble to post online rather than run over and try and help in some way. Never ever could I imagine taking selfies in the hospital and uploading those private moments to Face Book… (there’s zero need for you to take a selfie in the hospital BTW, and posting it on your feed… think about that… just why? WHAT are you doing? Sympathy clicks…. that’s a red flag gang)

Never EVER could I imagine airing out my family’s dirty laundry in a post and wait for “advice”, attention or sympathy from total strangers. Never EVER EVER could I imagine taking a picture of my dead pet on the floor of a VETERINARY OFFICE and saying, “I LOST HER TODAY”. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I get losing a pet – it’s brutal and traumatic… but do we have to see the dead carcass of your animal with you sobbing over them while taking a video?? NO. WE DO NOT. That’s a PRIVATE MOMENT. Not a moment to be used for clicks or attention. It’s really disgusting how people will use ANYTHING to be seen, and don’t even get me started on the ladies who run around FACEBOOK BARE A$$ who should not be and let it all hang out… that just ruins appetites. It’s horrible.

Seriously… you gotta know when to leave the stage before the HOOK comes like in the GONG SHOW. But people don’t… they don’t care because they are only thinking about themselves, and – THEY think they’re fabulous IN EVERY WAY. In the end times, the Bible talks about people being “lovers of selves”… I think we’ve reached capacity on that one. Try to avoid thinking about yourself for 1 hour. See what happens… if you can even do it.
