The Supreme Court needs a Supreme Court to hold them in contempt. Some in the court refuse to recuse themselves from cases they were/are involved with in some way. A few have benefitted mightily in personal gain from their positions. There are also a couple, such as Thomas, who should be impeached, yet still sits in judgment of others despite his grift and his wife’s political stance.
One of the latest decisions is designed to give more power to the Court in areas where they have little to no knowledge and are under the aegis of the Federal government. It has nothing to do with laws and rules but it’s a power grab.
It’s long past due to invoking term limits and with an expanding population, the Court needs more justices since we live in a litigious society.
We don’t vote for them yet live by their rules, which are more opinion than law.
