Let’s be clear about what this means: Elected officials (overwhelmingly Democrat) caused this problem. Officials at the state level should have been putting pressure on right up through the legislative ranks all the way to President Biden to tell him to stop this. But they haven’t. they support this. Now the same elected officials realize they don’t have resources to deal with this. So they ask “the state”? The state has no resources. Except from the taxpayers. So the general population, who didn’t vote to incur this problem, will be taxed and the “state” driven into debt to deal with the issue created by one single man, the president who has usurped authority over immigration policy for the whole country. This is the democracy that Democrats claim to want to protect??
