I have Medicare Advantage thru my former employer. I called UHC (at my age, I have to keep track).
I don’t know if this applies to everyone. I can go to any hospital. It will be billed to UHC as an “out of
network”. I hope that I don’t have to find out!!!!

I would love to see the WNBA come to Providence. I’m a huge fan of basketball, going back to PC’s first appearance on the national stage and winning the NIT. Let’s do this, Rhode Island !!!

My opinion only – those ‘detention centers’ are ‘concentration camps’. It’s putting lipstick on a pig. They aren’t being detained since there is no mention of a release date.

Why is Congress investigating Biden’s health? Whoever was running the US did a fine job. It’s no one’s business. Biden didn’t put the us in jeopardy. Now I can’t sleep at night.

Hooter’s for seniors – a remember when moment. Probably opens at 6 AM, no Happy Hour, and early bird specials run from 3 to 5 so they can get home to watch the news.

Why would you print this when it has been proven to be untrue? Un documented immegrants are not eligible for health care programs, ” Access by undocumented immigrants to a wide variety of health care programs, from Head Start to community health centers will end – several existing programs such as SNAP, already do this

That update is included in the National News section – and, as reported by national media outlets, “On July 10, 2025, the Department of Health and Human Services reclassified several programs—like Head Start, community health centers, and mental health and substance abuse services—as federal “public benefits.” This explicitly bars undocumented immigrants from accessing them. The policy also extends to new areas such as Title X family planning and workforce development grants.” In addition, several states such as California (Medi-Cal), MA, Washington, NYC have offered healthcare for this group by extending federal benefits with state supplements – going forward that will not be possible, under new regulations.nn
