In the Arena – Maribeth Calabro, Providence Teachers Union
Each week Joe Paolino, Jr. interviews people of interest on his program, “In The Arena”. The show airs at 7am on Sundays on ABC6.
This week his guest is Maribeth Calabro, president of the Providence Teachers Union.
Topics include the broken Providence school system, how education can be improved, the problem with rotating leadership and a curriculum that changes every year, if not sooner. How does class size impact teaching a multi-racial, multi-lingual, and multi-cultural student body? Teacher vaccinations and state takeover of Providence schools. Listen to the dialogue about improving education from the teachers union perspective.
Here is “In The Arena” – remotely – for Sept. 18, 2021:
The teachers’ Union perspective is the same as that of the far left of the Democrat Party, and that includes the indoctrination of our kids in the tenets of Marxist critical race theory designed to divide us by skin color.
Time for school vouchers to allow children of all colors to escape the influence of monopoly government schools. There is no more self-serving influence in politics today than teachers’ unions.
