In the Arena – Joe Paolino, Jr. with Dr. James McDonald, RIDOH
Each Sunday, Joe Paolino, Jr. interviews a person with important messages for Rhode Island. This week Paolino interviews Dr. James McDonald, acting director of the RI Department of Health.
They talk about the new variant – B.a.2 – of COVID – it is in Rhode Island but not causing a large uptick at this time – they are watching it. It does not seem more virulent than the current B.a.1.
They also discuss the 4th shot (2nd booster), what the future might hold, how to talk to the vaccine resistant, and the idea of forming a life-science facility in RI (new state laboratory, morgue/medical examiners office). The morgue and medical examiners office would move to Cumberland.
Tune in on ABC6 at 7am on Sundays to see In the Arena.
