In the Arena: Eric Hirsch, advocate for homeless, PC professor
Homelessness in Rhode Island is one of the major issues of the time. Today, Joe Paolino Jr. host of “In the Arena” interviews Eric Hirsch, a homeless advocate and co-chair of the Homeless Management Information System Steering Committee. They discuss the housing shortage, affordable housing at high interest rates, rental issues, pallet housing, NIMBY issues, and more. Hirsch is also a professor at Providence College.

My health is depleting, I need a voucher please, I’m down to 120 lbs , I haven’t been down to that weight in 20 years I’m living in an unhealthy environment, I’m being discriminated against an I’ve put in 4 or 5 reasonable accommodations an to no avail have been ignored or lied to, I have no doors I can’t breathe, I have PTSD, also I am clostrafobic I need doors an I have nearopthy very badly an they have me at the very end of the hallway in a wheelchair apartment an I’m not in a wheelchair! Plus I’ve had cancer an I can’t walk the very loonnng hallway an they continue to ignore my request to get out of the building I can’t breathe in there I’m suffering tremendously I need doors (air) outside to be able to walk out an breathe an park in front of where I live , an they just did complete seal coating of the entire property an didn’t add not 1 more handicap parking space for anyone an those of us that have place cards that are handicapped park in the 5th row she refused to add more handicap parking spots which is illegal I believe! Please help me I’m begging you!!!
