HopeHealth’s 13th Invitational raises $125K for financial assistance for hospice patients
The 2023 HopeHealth Golf Invitational, held on September 11 at the picturesque Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, was a resounding success, raising an impressive $125,000. The event, a highlight of the year for HopeHealth, was dedicated to supporting The Arthur S. Robbins Hope Fund, a crucial initiative that provides financial assistance to hospice patients who are uninsured or underinsured, ensuring they receive compassionate end-of-life care.
The day’s program featured a tournament of golf, lunch, and an enchanting evening reception overlooking Narragansett Bay. Keith Kelly, the immediate past chair of the Board of Directors, served as the event chair.
The success of the event was made possible by the support of its generous donors. Their commitment and contributions played a pivotal role in not only exceeding our financial goals but also reaffirming HopeHealth’s dedication to its mission, as stated by Suzanne Fortier, HopeHealth’s Chief Philanthropy Officer: “Ensuring everyone has access to care when they need it most is at the heart of HopeHealth’s mission. The incredible philanthropic contributions from our community are what allow us to fulfill this vital mission. We are profoundly grateful for their support.”
The 2023 HopeHealth Golf Invitational was not just a day of golf and camaraderie but a testament to the strength of our community’s commitment to compassionate end-of-life care. HopeHealth remains steadfast in its mission to provide comfort, dignity, and hope to all those in need.
