Gimme’ Shelter: Wynonna, Providence Animal Control

Hello! I was brought to PAC by my family, the brought a stray cat with them too! I guess the kiddo in the house was too rough with us cats and my being in heat was a problem, it was a problem for me too! Anyhow, I am about 1.5 years old and I am spayed now, I feel so much better! I am a sweet small fry, not even 7 lbs! I can’t wait for my do-over, I can live with other cats with a proper introduction 🙂 A nice male cat would be great!

If you can see me, I am still available! No phone calls please, everything is done online and we do need an application submitted and approved before scheduling a visit. About the Providence Animal Control Division

The Providence Animal Control Division protects the health and safety of our residents and their pets with progressive leadership and education, and continues to engage the hearts and minds of the community to help all animals.

As of November 2015, the Animal Control Division has adopted a “low risk euthanasia” philosophy of healthy adoptable animals and will continue to improve the live release rate of shelter animals via adoptions, returning strays to their owners, transferring animals to rescues, TNR, programs/services and treating medical cases. We believe that with progressive programs, we can have a more humane City. Through our Gimme Shelter program, PAC is spaying and neutering owned and feral cats for Providence residents.
