Gimme’ Shelter – Special request for Charlie – at Operation Pawsibility Project
Charlie is available through the Operation Pawsibility Project and his foster mom says he is the perfect pup. Within 3 weeks of his time with his foster mom, he’s learned to sit, stay, wait for food and is starting to ring a bell when he wants to go outside (how cool is that??).
Tragically, his ears were cut with kitchen scissors and he was kept chained by his first “family” in Texas. He was rescued and has been fostered by the Operation Pawsibility Project until his new – loving – family can be found.
Here are some photos and video shared by our friend, Lauren…
Charlie is eager to learn and loves to please.

Despite a lot of interest, Charlie is unfortunately still available for adoption.
Foster mom Darlene shared these new videos of Charlie in the hopes it will help him find a family.

Charlie’s been such a good boy – interacting with everyone – playing in the yard, going for little walks and car rides! “I only play with MY toys. I don’t steal food or counter-surf. And I always go outside and I’ll let you know when I need to go!” He is super smart, even learned a couple of new rules. “I wait for my food and treats! Super gentle, but no little pets or young children in the house, please, Charlie is a big boy.
Please help us find Charlie a forever home. Charlie is a large neutered male, about 14 months old.
Due to his size Charlie will need a fenced yard, children should have experience with large dogs, no cats, no small dogs or other small animals.
Operation Pawsibility Project requires adoptive parents must be homeowners for any pit bull/bully breeds adopted from their rescue (because not all landlords allow pit bulls, and then he will be returned).
