Gimme’ Shelter: Olivia Benson at the Providence Animal Control Center
Hey there! If you know female tuxedos then you already know my personality! I was originally adopted from PAC and I thought all was going OK, and sadly, they just didn’t understand my personality and no one was happy. Too bad I spent a few years in that home stressed and stressing people out.
I am happy to be back at PAC! I am your typical female tuxedo cat – basically a tortie in a fancy suit, but color me with the same tude. I did like the man in the home better, I wonder what that counts for!
I am outgoing but also independent, a friendly house plant – but better! I need someone or someone’s who understands female tuxedos, for everyone’s sake. Swat ya later! Just kidding, or maybe? Better also if I am a solo kitty, I like to the sell the drama to my house mates too much I guess. I am about 4 years old, and if you know cats like me, then you know!
If you can see me, I am still available! We prefer everything regarding adoption be done via email, this way we can answer any time or day! We do need an application submitted before scheduling a visit. If you don’t have access to email, no worries, please call 401 680 7591. We differ from other shelters by offering a one-on-one experience between you, our staff and the animal or animals you’ve chosen to become a new family member! Please email [email protected] or [email protected]*

About the Providence Animal Control Division
The Providence Animal Control Division protects the health and safety of our residents and their pets with progressive leadership and education, and continues to engage the hearts and minds of the community to help all animals.
As of November 2015, the Animal Control Division has adopted a “low risk euthanasia” philosophy of healthy adoptable animals and will continue to improve the live release rate of shelter animals via adoptions, returning strays to their owners, transferring animals to rescues, TNR, programs/services and treating medical cases. We believe that with progressive programs, we can have a more humane City. Through our Gimme Shelter program, PAC is spaying and neutering owned and feral cats for Providence residents. To participate please send a message through our Facebook page at Providence Animal Care Center.
