Get Your Holidays On! 3 New Year’s Eve events with One Big Party
Pat Cruz Events, Rhody Foody and Event Partners announced that tickets and information are available for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day festivities.
“We are excited to be heading into the New Year, producing two safe and fun events in our Capital City of Providence, and one in Warwick, while additionally promoting hotels and restaurants participating with their own New Year offerings. Although three featured events are being produced by our team, the ultimate goal is to generate awareness for other businesses in and around Providence. We are grateful for the support of local tourism organizations and look forward to bringing these events back to the forefront. Not only do in-person events provide a great way to celebrate with family and friends but also helps our local businesses and economy,” said Pat Paolino Cruz of Pat Cruz Events and Lupe Aguilar of Rhody Foody.
The three showcased events include.
· Public Restaurant and Lounge at the Renaissance Hotel, Providence. Guests are encouraged to wear their best black and white attire and accessories that reflect a dress to impress cocktail style dress code with options to dress in their best formal, flashy, funky, funny, and festive black and/or white attire. Dancing and entertainment throughout the night will be provided by Timmy Drums along with a special surprise or two.
· Bodega at Dark on Smith Street in Providence is the coolest neighborhood spot in Providence which is tucked away behind a hidden entrance at Bodega on Smith deli. The nondescript door entrance ensures a distinctly intimate experience that includes a full bar, champagne served throughout the night, lite bites, cozy atmosphere, comfortable seating and a brooding aura. Live sultry music will be provided by the popular Danielle Andrews. If this is a special ‘date night’ for you and your other half – you will want to be here.
· Gatsby Glamour at the Event Factory in Warwick will be celebrating with the theme of the 1920s. Ladies may dress in cocktail or flapper-inspired outfits, with feathered or beaded headpieces. Men are encouraged to imitate the attire of the notorious like Al Capone and Peaky Blinders with three-piece suits and flat caps. This event has a complete live band and dancing provided by Dr Slick and DJ D-Train.
Each of the three events will have plenty of festive party hats, noisemakers, and other fun items. Dancing will be continuous and cocktails plentiful, at their respective cash bars. Our sponsor, VELO Vodka, has created signature cocktails specifically for NYE that sparkle with disco ball stirrers and illuminated cocktail surprises. Light apps will be passed for General Admission ticket holders and at midnight there will be a bubbly toast and pizza will be provided by Providence based Big Tony’s. VIP ticket holders can celebrate with their own exclusive seating areas.
Events are sponsored by VELO Vodka and Dunkin’ and produced by Pat Cruz Events and Rhody Foody who are also producers of the popular Taste of Rhode Island events.
The Providence events are supported by The Providence Tourism Council with additional support from Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau, Providence Economic Development Office, Office of Mayor Brett Smiley and the City of Providence Department of Arts, Culture and Tourism.
One Big Party RI supporting local businesses include, TPG Hotels, Public Restaurant and Lounge at The Renaissance Hotel, Bodega on Smith, Ballooney Tunes, Big Tony’s Pizza, Restaurent, WRIK Entertainment and The Event Factory.
Prior to the evening’s parties, everyone can enjoy the Providence Tourism Council’s Illuminate PVD Fireworks show which is scheduled for public viewing at 8:30 p.m. at the Michael S. Van Leesten Memorial Bridge, also known as the Providence River Pedestrian Bridge. Food trucks will also be at that site.
