G Hospitality Supports Nonviolence Institute. Hosts Mardi Gras Fundraiser
G Hospitality, the hospitality management and development company behind the Rooftop at ProvidenceG, Sarto Restaurant, Providence GPub, and the Ballroom at ProvidenceG has made a donation of $5,000 to support the work and mission of the Nonviolence Institute, one of the city’s leading non-profit organizations. On February 21st, from 7:00-10:00 PM, G Hospitality will also host a Mardi Gras Cocktail Celebration fundraiser in honor of the Institute’s critical work. The fundraiser will be held at the Ballroom at ProvidenceG (100 Dorrance St, Providence, RI 02903). Tickets are $65 per person and can be purchased at providencegevents.com/mardigras.
“G Hospitality is proud to support the Nonviolence Institute’s incredible work to reduce gang violence, teach Providence students the principles of non-violence, and to help community members find employment opportunities,” said Colin Geoffroy, President & CEO of G Hospitality. “The partnership between the Institute, their trained street workers, and the Providence Police Department is a national model that has played a key role in making Providence the safe, vibrant city we love.”
“The Nonviolence Institute cannot do the work, day in and day out, without the support of the Providence business community,” said P.J. Fox, Executive Director of the Institute for Nonviolence. “The Institute puts the majority of its resources on the streets. Having the support of G Hospitality allows us to continue to put the boots on the ground to be able to serve the people of Providence and Rhode Island.”
G Hospitality annually invests over $30,000 in non-profit organizations who work to make Providence a better place.
