Free Online Meditation Series to address stressful living (begins today)

The Cranston Public Library is providing a free online Meditation Series in July. “Classes” are being offered TODAY, July 11th at 2pm, and July 18th and 25th.

People are turning to meditation as a solution for the emotional and mental strains of life. Meditation has numerous benefits for our physical and mental well-being. It is safe, effective, and free.  Once we learn how to meditate, we carry within us a ready remedy that we can use at any time and in any place. Please join world-renowned presenter Dr. Andrew Vidich for this 3-part online meditation series.

Each session requires separate registration. You may attend one, two, or all three sessions. Zoom meeting details will be sent out the day before each session. Handouts will be emailed to registered participants.

Part 1: Saturday, July 11, 2-3:30 PM – Dr. Vidich discusses the basics of meditation and how to get started with your own practice

Part 2: Saturday, July 18, 2-3:30 PM – Dr. Vidich discusses special strategies to deepen and strengthen your meditation practice

Part 3: Saturday, July 25, 2-3:30 PM – Dr. Vidich discusses how to overcome inner and outer hurdles on the meditative path

The series is free and open to the public.
