ART! Wickford Art’s FOOD & ART Market

As part of extension activities for the FoodWorks project in partnership with edible RHODY, the Wickford Art Association will present a FOOD & ART Market on Sunday, September 19, 2021 (9:00am-2:30pm) on the Green at North Kingstown Town Beach and in the WAA Gallery Garden. Raindate is Sunday 9/26.

The Wickford Art Association gallery will also be open to the public to view and enjoy the FoodWorks exhibit which opened on Friday, September 10 at the WAA Gallery in North Kingstown. Parking is free along the green at Cold Spring, Beach Street for all visitors.
The collection features dynamic photography from food-industry partners from across the region. The photographers were hand selected and prizes for artwork were determined by John Robson, a visiting jurist from Colorado. This exhibit can also be viewed during regular gallery hours through October 3rd from Wed-Sat (noon-4pm) and on Sun (noon-3pm). The special one-day FOOD & ART Market on Sunday- September 19th is free and open to the public.

The Wickford Art Association is a non-profit organization with approximately 475 members from Rhode Island and across New England. The association hosts art exhibits, classes, lectures, and workshops in its North Kingstown gallery and has produced the summertime Wickford Art Festival since 1962.
