ART! Tapestry, Bonnie Schultz Platzer, presented by The Artists Loop
Pnina Pressburger of The Artists Loop presents Tapestry artist, Bonnie Schultz Platzer’s exhibit on Wednesday, March 6th from 4 to 5pm at the Wanskuck Library, 233 Veazie Street in Providence.
The exhibit is FREE and open to the public. The Wednesday event is a slide show and discussion with the artist.
“My tapestries woven on a vertical Gobelin tapestry loom have all been inspired by people I have known or photographed while l was living in Africa (in Togo and Morocco in the Peace Corps and in Kenya in the 1980s) and when I was married and living in Vienna, Austria, for nine years. I have also been inspired by images in Providence, where I have lived since 1997. I weave because I want to capture moments and emotions that connect us, focusing on both what we share as well as what distinguishes us one from another.”

The Artists Loop is a program for artists and art enthusiasts. Often, participants get together to talk about art related topics, in addition to the exhibitions.
