Gimme’ Shelter: Cheeseburger in Paradise – Cheryl Tudino, RISPCA
by Cheryl Tudino, contributing writer

Cheryl Tudino, RISPCA
Hi there, I’m Cheryl, a volunteer at the RISPCA in Warwick, full-time treat dealer, poop scoop enthusiast, and unpaid publicist for dogs who deserve way more followers than influencers.
I found your Cheeseburger in Paradise… meet the one and only Cheeseburger McHowlin. This Cheeseburger has washed ashore at the RISPCA in search of his own personal paradise with his new BFF and maybe a cheeseburger of his own. 🍔
This handsome Beagle may not know the words to ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise’, but he definitely knows the important parts: good food, good people, good adventures, and a lifetime supply of treats.
In true Beagle fashion, Cheeseburger talks the talk and walks the walk and has lots to say. He is a loyal and affectionate guy. He is very friendly, social, curious and adventurous, with enough Beagle personality to keep you entertained. One important note from the captain: apartment living probably isn’t his ideal island getaway. He has a voice, and he loves to use it. Your neighbors may not appreciate his live Jimmy Buffet concerts as much as you will.
His idea of paradise? A loving BFF. A comfy island or couch to crash. Somewhere to put his nose to work. And perhaps… a cheeseburger or two.
We don’t have a history of him living on an island where there were other dogs, cats, or children, so island time introductions will be needed.
At 7 years old and 29 pounds, Cheeseburger has officially reached the age where he knows what he wants, and what he wants is someone to love him. “Changes in latitudes, changes in attitude… and hopefully a change in Cheeseburger’s address.
You don’t need a plane ticket. You don’t need a passport. You don’t need to go to Margaritaville. You just need to come meet Cheeseburger. Apply to adopt your ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise’ at https://www.rispca.org/adoptable-dogs , or email [email protected] with any questions!
