ART! The Newport Show Brings Antiques, Art and Exquisite Objects Together for a Newport Tradition

The Newport Show is not a conventional gallery exhibition. It is an elegant blend of art, antiques, design, history and collecting—and one of the distinctive traditions of Newport’s summer season.

Now in its 19th year, The Newport Show: Antiques, Art & Exquisite Objects will return Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the St. George’s School Ice Rink, 384 Purgatory Road, Middletown.

The weekend will begin with a Gala Preview Party on Friday, July 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. Patron-level ticket holders and above will receive early admission at 5 p.m.

More than 30 dealers will gather for the 2026 show, offering an extraordinary assortment of fine art, antique furniture, decorative objects, vintage pieces and other finds spanning periods, styles and continents. The lineup will include returning exhibitors as well as several newcomers, including Spiral Haus of San Francisco, Three Graces Antiques of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Dinan & Chighine of London.

For collectors, designers and those who simply enjoy seeing beautiful and unusual objects, The Newport Show offers the pleasure of discovery: history that can be viewed up close—and, in many cases, purchased and brought home.

Adding to this year’s historical significance will be a special loan exhibition connected to the 250th anniversary of American independence. The exhibition is being designed and curated by the Newport Historical Society’s 2026 Buchanan Burnham Summer Scholars in Public History.

The show attracts more than 1,000 visitors during the weekend and serves an important charitable purpose. Proceeds from both the show and the Gala Preview Party benefit the Newport Historical Society and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County.

Since The Newport Show was established in 2007, it has raised more than $4.75 million for the two nonprofit organizations—one dedicated to preserving and sharing Newport’s history and the other to supporting the future of Newport County’s young people.

Organizers describe it as the country’s first luxury show with two beneficiaries: “Supporting Newport’s Past and Newport’s Future.”
