Gimme’ Shelter: Zoey waiting for you at the RISPCA – Cheryl Tudino

Hi there, I’m Cheryl, a volunteer at the RISPCA in Warwick, full-time treat dealer, poop scoop enthusiast, and unpaid publicist for dogs who deserve way more followers on social media. This week I have a certified sweetheart with a minor shyness package included.

Zoey means “life,” and this sweet pup is ready to fill your life with unconditional love, companionship, and plenty of cozy moments.  Meet Zoey!

Zoey is an affectionate, gentle soul who loves with her whole heart. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality shines. Her tail wags nonstop, her eyes light up, and her loving nature quickly wins everyone over. She is the kind of dog who is happiest simply being near her human-whether that is relaxing on the couch, keeping you company around the house, or soaking up all the affection you have to give.

She can be a tad shy at first when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places, but with patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, she warms up beautifully. Once you earn Zoey’s trust, she forms a deep, loyal bond and becomes an incredibly devoted BFF. When you’re IN; you’re IN!

Zoey has moderate to low energy level, making her a wonderful match for a calm home that enjoys a nice mix of relaxation and light activity. She is perfectly content on leisurely walks, cozy naps, and quality cuddle time. She has done well with other pups in the past who have similar energy and may do well with respectful children. At this time, we don’t have any history on her past relationships with cats.

Sweet Zoey would thrive with a BFF who will continue to help her build on her confidence at her own pace. In return, she will give you unconditional love, quiet companionship, and a truly special friendship filled with trust, sweetness, and snuggles.
