Gimme’ Shelter: A duo! Meet Georgia and America at the RI SPCA – Cheryl Tudino

Hi there, I’m Cheryl, a volunteer at the RISPCA in Warwick-dog walker, treat dispenser, and part-time hype woman for our adoptable pups.

Land of the free… Home of the ADOPTED. Meet Georgia and America!

From the moment we met them, we knew – this wasn’t just a friendship, it’s a founding partnership. These two are more united than the states themselves. While some bonded pairs can go their separate ways, Georgia and America said, “absolutely not,” and signed that declaration in permanent paw print ink.

They move through life in perfect formation-walking in sync (no not the boy band), napping in a full snuggle summit, and keeping one paw on each other at all times like it’s their constitutional right.

And honestly? It is more heartwarming than a bald eagle soaring through the air at sunset.

These all – American girls are affectionate, gentle, and sweet as Don McLean’s American pie. They are house trained, easy to walk, and know commands like sit, paw, down, and stay-they are the valedictorians of Good Dog USA Academy.

Separating them? That would be downright unpatriotic. Together, they bring comfort, confidence, and joy that can’t be replaced. This is a patriotic package deal-two best furry best friends, one loving home.

We know adopting two dogs is a big commitment… but this doubles the love, doubles the loyalty, and doubles happily-ever-after. Fireworks are not included! 🎇
