Lila Delman Compass Renews Title Sponsorship for Community Sailing Access
Conanicut Island Sailing Foundation (CISF) is proud to announce the continued partnership with Lila Delman Compass for sponsorship of its summer 2026 season of Community Free Sailing. The Lila Delman Compass sponsorship of CISF’s Community Free Sailing Program supports public access to sailing. CISF’s Community Free Sailing Program takes place on Wednesdays in the summer from July 8 through August 12 from 4:30-6:30 from Jamestown’s Town-owned park, Fort Getty. The program is for people of all ages to get on the water and learn how to sail at no cost.
“Building on the incredible momentum of our partnership since 2024, Lila Delman Compass is excited to continue our commitment to CISF and their mission of providing accessible sailing for our local families,” commented Molly McDonough, Sales Associate at Lila Delman Compass’ Jamestown Office. “This initiative has become a cornerstone of our office culture; it’s about more than just a grant—it’s about hands-on volunteering, and sharing the joy of giving back to the community that supports us every day. We are honored to participate in this cause once again in 2026 and look forward to another season of making waves together.”
Community Free Sailing is CISF’s longest running program, with 2026 marking the program’s 20th year! Thanks to the continued support of Lila Delman Compass, hundreds of Jamestown residents and visitors are able to participate, enjoying the bay and learning to sail. The continued partnership enables CISF to continue to provide this program that is at the heart of the organization’s mission, to inspire and engage people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds with the coastal environment.
Meg Myles, CISF’s Executive Director, expressed enthusiasm about the ongoing partnership, stating, “2026 will be a banner year for the program, the organization, and our community. In addition to celebrating 20 years of our Community Free Sailing Program, we will be opening the doors to our new year-round facility, where we hope to continue to engage and inspire all people with the coastal environment through education and boating. Lila Delman Compass’s commitment to public access to sailing and the coastal environment is pivotal in this effort.”
