Summer Camps: Narragansett Council – Scouting America Adventure Day Camps

The Narragansett Council – Scouting America today announced registration is open for its 2026 Adventure Day Camps, offering families across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts an affordable, fun, and enriching summer experience for children entering grades 1–5. Open to all youth – Scouts and non-Scouts, boys and girls alike – Adventure Day Camp combines outdoor exploration, hands-on learning, and age-appropriate activities in a safe, supportive environment designed to spark curiosity and build confidence.
Day Camps for Children in Grades 1-5

(Open to Scouts, non-scouts, all genders)

  • Adventure Base Camp (Cranston, RI): Residing on 100 acres of lush woodlands, Adventure Base Camp at Camp Champlin offers weekly sessions from June 22 to August 21. This summer’s 9 weekly themes include Galactic Quest, Mad Science, Creepy Crawlies and more!
  • Save $625 on a 9-week package and $200 on a 4-week package.
  • Camp Norse (Kingston, MA): Situated along Darby Pond, Camp Norse runs weekly from June 22 to August 14. This summer’s 8 weekly themes include Galactic Quest, Mad Science, Creepy Crawlies and more!
  • Save $600 on an 8-week package and $200 on a 4-week package.
  • Camp Yawgoog (Hopkinton, RI): Situated on the shores of Yawgoog Pond in southern Rhode Island, Camp Yawgoog offers weekly sessions on: Week 6 – July 27 – 31; Week 7 – August 3 – 7; and Week 8 – August 10 – 14. This camp emphasizes nature exploration and personal development through engaging, hands-on activities.
  • Save $100 by attending all 3 weeks by using code yawgoog3week to save $100.

Families are encouraged to explore weekly themes, locations, and registration options now, as sessions fill quickly. Multi-week discounts and financial assistance are available to help ensure every child has access to a summer filled with adventure, learning, and new friendships.
