Morning: Mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures starting in the low-mid 20s°F (rising slowly from overnight lows around 10-18°F), feeling colder with light north winds ~5 mph or calm. Dry conditions overall, no precip expected. Chilly start, bundle up.
Afternoon: Mostly cloudy continuing. High reaching around 29-32°F. Light winds, calm in spots. Still dry during daylight hours, but overcast limiting any “warmth.” Feels like upper teens to low 20s with wind chill possible.
Evening: Mostly cloudy, turning colder. Lows dropping to 18°F or mid-teens. Winds light/calm. Precip chance ramps up after midnight (snow likely ~60%, but little/no accumulation expected). Frigid feel overnight.
Overall for the day: Dry and cloudy during daylight, very cold (high only ~29-32°F), typical winter RI weather with no storms but building toward weekend snow potential on Saturday.
