RI Elder Info invites the public to attend its 6th Annual Calling All Veterans Day, a free and powerful community event happening on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Seabee Museum and Memorial Park, 21 Iafrate Way, North Kingstown, RI.

  • Connect with over 40 organizations offering support for health, housing, legal aid, caregiver services, and more

  • Tour the historic Seabee Museum and Memorial Park

Opening Ceremony at 10:00 AM

“Many people may not realize that countless Veterans step into the role of caring for aging parents, a spouse with a health condition, or other family members in need. They face the same challenges as civilian caregivers: balancing medical appointments, managing finances, providing emotional support, and navigating complex systems to get the best care possible.” said Deborah Burton, Executive Director of RI Elder Info. “Calling All Veterans Day is a one-stop opportunity for Veterans and caregivers to get the help they need, ask questions, and connect with experts face-to-face.”

Whether you are a Veteran, a family caregiver, or someone who cares about the well-being of those who have served, you are encouraged to attend. This is a day of honor, help, and heart—and a chance to connect with real solutions in one welcoming place.

None of this would be possible without the generous support of Atria Senior Living, our Presenting Sponsor, as well as our Supporting Sponsors: the RI State Long Term Care Ombudsman, Brown University Health, and Greenwich Farms at Warwick. Their dedication makes this day of information, connection, and gratitude possible.
