Clear to partly cloudy morning with a low around 70. Hot in the afternoon with a high approaching 100! High heat indices also, so be careful and watch for heat exhaustion.

Gusty westerly winds take some of the edge off, but still brutally hot for these parts. There will be a chance for late afternoon thunderstorms mainly over the Cape and Islands but also over the Narragansett Bay area as well.
