10,000 cases in Rhode Island Superior Court have been rescheduled twice since courts closed in March because of the coronavirus pandemic. Judges will start to tackle that backlog when June 1st when courts open, but they will be restricted to no more than 8 cases an hour, and there will be strict limits on how many people can enter the courthouse.
