Mayor Ken Hopkins invites everyone to the annual Cranston Veterans Day Parade. This annual event is a treasured tradition in Cranston, offering an opportunity for residents of all ages to come together in gratitude and respect. The parade route will begin on Doric Avenue behind the Pub on Park – proceeding along Park to Pontiac, south on Pontiac, turning north on Rolfe Street and concluding at the top of Rolfe Square. A ceremony will be held at the Cannon Memorial across from the Park Theater.

  • Moment of Silence – Led by past Rotary Club President and local Veteran Lou Marciano

  • Laying of Wreath – Sen. Reed joined by veterans
  • Firing of Volley Shots from CPD
  • TAPS – played by Cranston High School East Band Member

    Fantastic!! So why is Laurens Street from Wellington Ave. Closed to neighbood residents? Especially since it’s not part of the parade route.
