Rhode Island Weekend Weather for May 11/12, 2024 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 5/11/24:
High pressure in the lower levels keeps us dry, but some high cloud cover moves in aloft during the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50’s and lows in the mid 40’s with a northeasterly breeze.
Sunday 5/12/24
Chance of showers in the afternoon as high pressure begins to break down and a weak upper disturbance approaches from the northwest. Highs in the mid 50’s and lows in the low 40’s with a light southwesterly breeze.
Geomagnetic storms are here – anyone see the Northern Lights?
