ART! 2024 Member Show at the First Unitarian Church
23 member artists will exhibit their artwork at the 2024 Member Show at the Atrium in the First Unitarian Church on the East Side of Providence. Artists interpreted the theme of “UU Principles”, and each work of art related to one of the UU principles.
The Member Show runs from May 9th through September 7th.
In addition, students from the church’s’ Coming of Age program will exhibit their photographic explorations of the principles.
Opening reception with light refreshments is in Atrium on Thursday, May 16, 6-8 pm.
Entrance to the exhibit is on the One Benevolent Street side.

The Principles of the UU are:
- The inherent worth and dignity of every person
- Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations
- Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations
- A free and responsible search for truth and meaning
- The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large
- The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all
- Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part
