Paying it Forward – Good deeds all around us
The Coventry High School Senior Executive Board – Vanessa McDonald, Bianca Colucci, Susan Read, Trina Capezza, Emily Gates and Ari Brock – were nominated to take part in a pay-it-forward movement by Cranston East High School. The group, having seen great changes happen to their plans for a prom and graduation, decided to use their money from their senior fund.
Then, to make those funds go further, the Black Oak Kitchen and Drinks Restaurant in Coventry joined with them and food was donated to the nurses and first responders at Gateway Health, a Lifespan company.
“We are so honored to be a part of this,” they say.
The restaurant, having not yet had their grand opening to the public, is now doing curbside – and offering 20% off for curbside pickup orders for current Medical Professionals and First Responders
