Narragansett Boat Club rowers make strong showing at The Head of The Quinobequin Regatta

Local high school athletes from Providence’s Narragansett Boat Club made a strong showing at The Head of The Quinobequin Regatta on Boston’s famous Charles River this past Sunday, October 15, 2023.
In a field of competitors from around New England, Narragansett Boat Club rowers made a solid mark in the competition.
Aidan Lynch from North Kingstown High School placed 10th out of 44 participants in the Men’s Single Under 17 Division.
The women’s U19 division added impressive finishes with Maude Smith-Montross from Barrington High School placing 5th and Araminta Gaitskill from The Lincoln School placing 9th out of 32 participants.
The U17 division included Elsa Paganos placing an impressive 5th out of 39 participants in addition to Amelia Collins’ strong 5th place finish out of 16 participants in the U15 division, both athletes are from The Wheeler School.

Narragansett Boat Club (NBC), America’s oldest boat club since 1838 is located at 2 River Drive in Providence, Rhode Island.
