Rhode Island Weather for September 12, 2023 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
It only rains on days that end in “Y”.
Probably some scattered showers here and there through the day as the low pressure system tries to escape to our east, dragging a residual trough through the area that will ‘encourage’ some nimbus development. Less chance of lightning and downpours, so there’s that. What a month!
Lows in the misty mid 60’s rising to only the mid 70’s with a raw northeasterly breeze.
Editor’s Note: Hurricane Lee is expected to cause most concern for Boston – which will have implications for Rhode Island
It’s a “C” day!
