RI Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun, 3/14 & 15, 2020
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday, March 14, 2020
A weak cold front will approach from the west and largely stay to our north and mostly be a cloud event, no precip expected as it’s moisture-starved. We’ll have a mostly clear morning with a low in the upper 30’s followed by high cirrus-veiled afternoon sunshine and a high in the mid 50’s, accompanied by cold front-induced breezes mainly from the west, gusting towards 30 mph at times. More good than bad.
Sunday, March 15, 2020

Our weak front will have passed east, taking a good portion of the cloud cover with it, and we’ll be left with lots of midday and afternoon sunshine with coolish highs in the upper 40’s up from morning lows in the mid 30’s. Winds will have calmed down and shifted to northerly less than 20 mph.
