“I Voted” – make sure you can say that – Absentee process here…
Not knowing where we will find ourselves come Rhode Island primary time, perhaps a “preparedness” measure is to request an absentee ballot.
You can do this easily – it takes about 2 minutes to complete – and you mail it back to your local elections office – usually City Hall in the city where you live.
Here is the link that will open up your application:
Complete it, find your mailing address (on the form) and mail it in.
You’ll receive your absentee ballot prior to the April 28th primary election.
Make sure this April – and this November – you can say: “I Voted!”
