Gimme’ Shelter – California King at Providence Animal Control Center
Hello there! I am a 3 (or so) year old boy from the mattress case! Casper, Serta, and I are the only ones left – Hurray, please, I really do want to go “home”.
It took me a while to come around, like everyone else from my family, but I am outgoing and friendly now and you’ll find my lounging on my chair or on my cat tree. I would LOVE to live with other cats please, maybe one of my friends who is still here? Please inquire about me!

If you go on the link, here: https://www.petfinder.com/cat/california-king-59412757/ri/providence/providence-animal-control-ri79/ – that means I am still looking for YOU! If not, then another special person has taken me home, but please look at the friends I’ve left behind. Surely, there’s one for you and your family…
About the Providence Animal Control Division
The Providence Animal Control Division protects the health and safety of our residents and their pets with progressive leadership and education, and continues to engage the hearts and minds of the community to help all animals.
As of November 2015, the Animal Control Division has adopted a “low risk euthanasia” philosophy of healthy adoptable animals and will continue to improve the live release rate of shelter animals via adoptions, returning strays to their owners, transferring animals to rescues, TNR, programs/services and treating medical cases. We believe that with progressive programs, we can have a more humane City. Through our Gimme Shelter program, PAC is spaying and neutering owned and feral cats for Providence residents. To participate please send a message through our Facebook page at Providence Animal Care Center.
