Business Beat: Diane Landry, joins Engel & Völkers as Real Estate Advisor

Luxury Rhode Island real estate brokerage gains community leader

Engel & Völkers of East Greenwich announced today that Diane Landry has joined its brokerage as a real estate advisor, bringing her background in sales, customer service and community relations to this new role.

Diane received her real estate license in 2006 after working in export sales and customer service for a local manufacturer. She became interested in the industry after she and her husband purchased their first home. Diane was grateful for their realtor’s guidance as they made one of the biggest purchases of their lives and she wanted to help others achieve their real estate dreams.

“Everyone has a unique situation and it’s important to connect with my clients and learn their story to understand their desires and motivation for home ownership,” says Diane. “My clients can trust that I will guide them through every step of the process and provide them with the resources and personalized service they deserve.”

Diane was a real estate advisor for four years before taking a hiatus in 2009 to accommodate family responsibilities. She worked part-time in an office role until 2013 when she became the sales manager for the Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Center. During nearly a decade with the Stadium Theatre, Diane was responsible for sales and event sponsorships, community relations, fundraising, and development. While it was a fulfilling career, Diane was ready for her next chapter. She left the Stadium Theatre to dive back into the real estate industry this spring.

“I’m excited to be back in the real estate business,” says Diane. “Building relationships with my clients and helping them achieve their goals of home ownership is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a real estate advisor.”

Diane has been a longtime community supporter and she volunteers her time at several organizations around the state. She was a former mentor at Mentor RI and now mentors at Big Brothers Big Sisters of RI. She is a faith formation instructor at St. John Vianney Parish and a school board member at the Greater Woonsocket Catholic Regional High School. She holds a BA in Business Administration from Bryant University, and she is a member of the Kent Washington Association of Realtors.

“We are elated to have joined forces with Diane,” says Emilio DiSpirito, co-owner of Engel & Völkers. “Diane has a strong background in customer service and real estate, in addition to being a truly empathetic and passionate person. Diane embodies all the qualities we look for in an advisor at Engel & Völkers.”
