Gimme’ Shelter – Angelica
Well hey there! I was getting around town when I followed some humans home. Guess I chose well since they let me in their home… well I kinda barged in but, who can verify?
Anyhow, they called to have me picked up since I am a stray. Since being at PAC, it has taken me a little while to adjust and then again after my spay, too.
I’m a little spicy, a little demanding, but I also think I need more space…. That’s what the people who care for me say so far… I may not be the easiest kitty but if you like cats who know what they want, I might be the one for you! I’ll continue to evolve as I wait for you!

About the Providence Animal Control Division
The Providence Animal Control Division protects the health and safety of our residents and their pets with progressive leadership and education, and continues to engage the hearts and minds of the community to help all animals.
As of November 2015, the Animal Control Division has adopted a “low risk euthanasia” philosophy of healthy adoptable animals and will continue to improve the live release rate of shelter animals via adoptions, returning strays to their owners, transferring animals to rescues, TNR, programs/services and treating medical cases. We believe that with progressive programs, we can have a more humane City. Through our Gimme Shelter program, PAC is spaying and neutering owned and feral cats for Providence residents. To participate please send a message through our FaceBook page at Providence Animal Care Center.
I’m wondering if you can tell me where this cat was found/picked up? Our cat got out a couple weeks ago. He is a Maine coon mix. Please let me know. Thank you
You should get in touch with the Providence Animal Control Center – they will advise you – I know they have several cats in shelter.
