Your RI Weather Today – Aug. 26, 2021 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
More of the same, hot, humid and hazy sunshine with near oppressive humidity as afternoon highs crack the 90’s from morning lows in the low 70’s. A light southwesterly breeze won’t provide much relief, but at least it’s something.
This stretch could be the last panting of the dog days of summer ‘21, as temps back off a bit due to the natural thinning of the late summer atmosphere with lower sun angle.
