Your RI Weather Today, Aug. 13, 2021 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
Day three, still hot.
Another triple-H situation, morning lows in the mid 70’s and afternoon highs cracking 90 in most places away from the coast, where early mist lifts by mid morning. A light southwesterly breeze moves the near-stagnant air enough to take the edge of the blistering heat.
We’ll have a slight chance of an afternoon/evening thunderstorm crossing into northwestern RI as usual.
