Your RI Weather Today – August 3, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Most of the area should stay dry through the day with cloud cover moving in from the south in advance of a low pressure system developing over the Carolinas – a Hatteras Low. The system should stay to the south with maybe a shower or two clipping the beaches and the Islands overnight into Wednesday. Morning lows around 60 rise to afternoon highs around 80 with a light south-southwesterly breeze.
