Your RI Weather Today – June 9, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
After some leftover soft rain around an obscured sunrise, temps will once again climb into the mid and upper 80’s from a sticky morning low around 70, held back by the fairly persistent cloud cover ahead of the frontal system that will work through later in the evening. We could see some front-enhanced showers and maybe even a tstm in the area anytime during the afternoon. If you happen to be up with me overnight into Thursday morning, you’ll feel a noticeable change in the air feel with dew points in the 50’s.
