Your RI Weather Today – Wed, March 17, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Your St. Patrick’s Day forecast:
Some high pressure drives away the cloud cover, but then passes to our southeast and allows for cloud cover to spread over the area later in the day in advance of the next storm system. The southwesterly flow will also bring us some warmer air, welcome after the biting wind chills we’ve been dealing with lately. Morning lows fall to the mid 30’s and rise nicely to around 50 with a light breeze, so no wind chills!
