Providence residents in 3 zip codes, 65+ – REGISTER NOW for Fri/Sat vaccinations
Mayor Jorge O. Elorza today announced that the City of Providence would immediately begin registering eligible Providence residents ages 65+ in some of the state’s neighborhoods hardest-hit by COVID-19 for the vaccination clinics scheduled on Friday, February 19, and Saturday, February 20.
These neighborhoods comprise zip codes 02907, 02908, and 02909.
“Our goal is to vaccinate as many people as possible and to focus on the communities that have been hit the hardest,” said Mayor Jorge O. Elorza. “I thank the Department of Health for approving our request as it allows us to meet our shared goal of vaccinating our most vulnerable residents efficiently and expeditiously.”
Providence residents ages 65+ living in zip codes 02907, 02908, and 02909 are encouraged to register for vaccination clinics through the City’s online portal https://VaccinatePVD.com.
If you cannot register yourself, please call to connect to the Mayor’s Center for City Services by dialing 3-1-1 or (401) 421-2489 and a representative will fill out the registration form on your behalf in English or Spanish.
