UPDATED: List of RI Nursing Home, Long Term Care Facilities: Cases, Fatalities (10/7/20)
Period ending Oct. 7th, 2020
Increases since Sept. 30th
Cases: approx. 3,343 (60 more)
Cumulative resident fatalities: 883 (10 more than 9-30-2020)
Editor’s Note: This data may be out of date by a week or more as we know of several nursing homes in the news, and to us, personally, whose data is not on here – with cases rising among staff and residents.
ALSO – staff numbers are not reported in this list. This is from the RI Dept. of Health:
“As of yesterday, we had 1739 nursing home staff cases.
56,722 tests have been run by East Side Clinical Lab. However, other labs don’t record occupation, so we don’t have the full denominator for all nursing home workers.”
Nursing Homes to watch: Cherry Hill, Johnston; Grandview Center, Cumberland, Riverview Healthcare, Coventry; and Briarcliff Gardens, Johnston.
