RI Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun, Sept. 12, 13, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 9/12/20:
High pressure to the northeast wlll keep dry air and easterly breezes in place through the day with a coolish feel to the air given the low dew points. Afternoon high around 70 from a morning low in the mid 50’s. We may get some scattered low cloud cover along the coast in the afternoon, but they should be devoid of any rain.

Sunday 9/13/20:
High pressure well east with a frontal system approaching the northeastern US will funnel breezes from the southeast and increasing our humidity, but nothing oppressive. We’ll still see afternoon highs in the low 70’s from a low in the mid 50’s. Some more cloud cover expected with the moisture being fed into the approaching fronts.
