RI Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun, Aug. 22/23, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 8/22/20:
Frontal system passes mostly to our west with an outlier related upper disturbance that will likely touch off some isolated showers/T’Storms in the area during the afternoon. Dew points will be on the rise, so a muggy feel to the day. Morning low in the upper 60’s and an afternoon high in the upper 80’s with a southwesterly breeze.
Sunday 8/23/20:
Boring old summer weather returns, warm and humid in the afternoon with a high in the upper 80’s from a low around 70. A light southerly breeze doesn’t help much, but we should stay away from the 90’s. Not terrible.
